Privacy notice

Who is responsible
Onda is made by Hive Solutions Lda., Rua 31 de Janeiro, 190A, 3.º Dto., 4000-542 Porto, Portugal, company number (NIPC) 508605989. For anything about your data, write to hello@hiveinc.co.
What we keep when you join the waitlist
- Your email address.
- Where you said you'll watch, and whether you asked to join the private beta.
- The language your browser is set to, to show the Founders plan in your currency and, later, to write to you in your language.
- Where you came from, when the address you followed says so, such as the name of a campaign.
- When you joined and confirmed, when each email was sent to you, and the version of the words you agreed to.
We don't keep your IP address with your sign-up. It is used for a moment to stop abuse, by limiting how often one address can try, and is forgotten within the hour.
Why, and on what basis
To tell you when Onda opens on your TV, to invite you to the private beta if you asked, to offer you the Founders plan, and, once accounts exist, to invite you to make one. The basis is your consent, given when you joined and confirmed your email (article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with the link at the end of every email, which deletes your entry at once.
How the page measures itself
ondatv.app uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. The page tells us when it is viewed, which sections are seen, and how far people get in joining, under a random number that lasts only while the page is open. None of it is linked to your email. The basis is our legitimate interest in knowing whether the page works (article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
Who handles it
Everything runs on servers in Germany, rented from Hetzner Online GmbH and operated by Hive Solutions, and our emails are sent from our own mail servers there. The fonts of the page are served by us, not by Google. We don't sell or share your data with anyone, and we use none of it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Your waitlist entry is kept until Onda launches and you have had the chance to make an account, and no more than twelve months after the launch. Leaving the waitlist deletes it straight away. The page's measurements are kept for twelve months, and only their totals after that.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to receive it in a file. Write to hello@hiveinc.co, and we'll answer within a month. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that matters, we'll tell everyone on the waitlist by email before it applies.
